In your opinion, What type of longboard design could be trend in 2010?

1) i think 2010 will continue what was started in 2009 for me, at least,

and that is classic old school outlines from the 60's in thinner and lighter

applications with all the contemporary modifications to make the board

smooth and easy to ride without sacrificing style and glide.

What the reason why such a board becomes popular do you think?

2) i think style is the most important factor in why a board becomes popular.

when you somebody riding a board with grace and style that not everybody else is

surfing, people take notice and want to try it themselves

What is most important point of shaping for you, or what is your skillful of shaping?

3) detail. i never take shortcuts while shaping a board. at the end of the day

i need to be happy and proud of what i made for every customer, whether a beginner,

friend or pro, when i hand the board to them. so yeah, i'd like to say that i

devote alot of time and energy into detail. not every customer notices it but it might

be that devotion to detail why the board is working for them.

the pistolero and mod sled have identical rockers.
pretty moderate/ low entry. most of rocker is taken off
the deck to make it appear even lower than what it is.
tail rocker is medium. good boards for all round classic style
surfing. nose concave is about 4 mm deep blended to flat roll
just behind concave then progresses to a rolled vee out the tail.
the diamond sled is similar but lower rocker but same bottom concept
all have 50/50 style rails

- the gent is a classic inspired board design. the outline was achieved

by the blending of my daddy 0, diamond sled, and supersled. with a pig

shape tail and slightly lower hips this sled excels in small surf. despite

no nose concave this board noserides excellent due to the lower hips and

wide tail but it's strength lies in trimming. by eliminating the nose concave,

the transition as you walk from the tail of the board to the nose is much

smoother and more predictable inspiring stylish footwork.
