Hi everybody!
Hey I don't like SUPs (especially loose ones) in a crowded surf spot, especially when one could shortboard, but these LAME laws need to change for good reason. What good is a PFD if your board gets away from you? A leash is a simple and effective tool. A leash should be required EVERYWHERE! Too many wanna be Lairds out there, and it's only going to get worse. Pass it on if not already!
Thanks for your time!

Attention Fellow Sweepers,
The "vessel" designation by the Coast Guard is driving lots of negative regulations for standup paddling.
We need to nip this thing in the bud, now!
The HPWA Human Powered Watercraft Association...
www.letspaddle.org
is taking this on this fight.
Please get their petition distributed as widely as possible, like to their petition or their site on your site, and spread their cause!
These guys are for real!:
Their legal director Tim Ryan was the one who
took on and beat the Orange County California sup ban last summer he's spoiling for another fight with the "vessel" designation...
If we don't act now, it will be too late.
Please give these guys a look, DISTRIBUTE THIS PETITION TO YOUR MAILING LIST: http://www.letspaddle.org/petition.php
... do what you can to help... maybe toss them a few shekels. By the way, Tim Ryan rips!
Thanks and paddle on!
All the Best,
-Clay
