BENEFIT CONCERT "EDDIE BERTRAND"

Big show coming up this Saturday at Don The Beachcombers to benefit our friend Eddie Bertrand who had a horrible injury. Eddie was one of the original creators of the instrumental surf music sound in the early 60's. His career started in the South bay when he and Paul Johnson formed the Belairs. Eddie later started his own band Eddie
and The Showman. They hit # 4 on the top 40 charts with Mr. Rebel.
They were the So Cal rage in the early 60's when kids packed dances.

The Eliminators have become good friends with Eddie and featured Eddie a couple years ago at some of their shows. Eddie is a monster guitar player to this day. There will be an All Star Jam around 6pm with some of the original players from the Belairs and Eddie and The Showman. The Eliminators will play at 8pm. Please come out and join us. Get there early.
